Implementasi Pembelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik Melalui Model Problem Based Learning Menggunakan Simulasi Festo Fluidsim di SMK

Abstract


Lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan memiliki kemampuan yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia usaha untuk memenuhi permintaan mereka dan meningkatkan produksi. Di antara banyak kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa adalah kemampuan untuk memasang motor listrik. Siswa mengasah kemampuan analisis dan pemecahan masalah dengan memanfaatkan paradigma Problem Based Learning (PBL). Festo Fluidsim hanyalah salah satu dari sekian banyak simulator pembelajaran yang ada di luar sana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana SMK telah menerapkan strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah untuk mengajar instalasi motor listrik menggunakan simulasi Festo Fluidsim.  Pendekatan Pre-post test-experimental design digunakan pada studi ini. Siswa kelas XI TITL 2 dari SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya berpartisipasi sebagai subjek pada studi ini. Temuan pembelajaran pelajar meningkat secara signifikan setelah menggunakan simulasi Festo Fluidsim dengan konsep belajar mengajar Problem Based Learning. Pertumbuhan ini ditemukan dari rata-rata 56,8 sebelum pretest dan 83,75 setelah posttest. Simulasi tersebut menghasilkan nilai 81% sangat tinggi, serta temuan perhitungan software SPSS 25 menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Setelah menerapkan simulasi Festo Fluidsim dengan pendekatan pedagogi Problem Based Learning, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa temuan pembelajaran siswa meningkat.
