Penerapan Model Project Based Learning melalui Pembelajaran Seni Rupa untuk Mengelola Sosial Emosional Peserta Didik

Abstract


Tantangan dalam menjaga fokus dan keterlibatan emosional peserta didik selama pembelajaran seni rupa memerlukan pendekatan yang mampu menjawab kebutuhan sosial dan emosional mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan model Project Based Learning (PJBL) dalam pembelajaran seni rupa sebagai sarana pengelolaan sosial emosional peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif  yang melibatkan subjek 35 peserta didik di kelas XI LGP SMAN 4 Malang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur, serta dokumentasi, sementara analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL dalam pembelajaran Seni Rupa dapat mendorong peserta didik untuk mengekspresikan emosi secara jujur melalui karya visual, meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif, serta memperkuat empati dan komunikasi sosial. Kesimpulannya, PjBL efektif sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran seni rupa yang holistik, karena mampu menumbuhkan kecerdasan sosial emosional peserta didik dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan reflektif
