Analisis Hubungan Kepercayaan Diri dan Kecemasan Komunikasi Pegawai dengan Atasan di Lingkungan Birokrasi Dinas Pendidikan

Abstract


Studi pendahuluan di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi menunjukkan bahwa beberapa pegawai mengalami kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi dengan atasan, terutama pegawai dengan kepercayaan diri rendah yang cenderung pasif dalam rapat dan enggan menyampaikan pendapat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi pegawai dengan atasan.Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi Pearson pada 177 pegawai yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas pegawai memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi dalam kategori sedang. Terdapat hubungan negatif sedang antara kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan komunikasi (r = -0,43; p < 0,05), yang berarti semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri, semakin rendah kecemasan komunikasi. Analisis demografi menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja berpengaruh signifikan (p < 0,05), sedangkan usia tidak berpengaruh (p > 0,05). Pegawai dengan pendidikan lebih tinggi dan pengalaman kerja lebih lama memiliki kepercayaan diri lebih tinggi serta kecemasan komunikasi lebih rendah. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kepercayaan diri melalui pelatihan komunikasi dan bimbingan psikologis guna menciptakan interaksi kerja yang lebih efektif.
