Pemanfaatan Teknologi Asistif Kalkulator Uang untuk Belajar Matematika bagi Anak Hambatan Intelektual

Abstract


Kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika uang seringkali menjadi tantangan bagi peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual. Hal ini mengakibatkan rendahnya kemampuan menghitung uang dan motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini tujuannya mengevaluasi efektivitas pemakaian kalkulator uang guna menaikkan kemampuan menghitung uang dan motivasi belajar pada enam peserta didik kelas 5 dengan hambatan intelektual di SLBN Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) di dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan peningkatan signifikan di kedua aspek yang diukur. Pada Siklus 1, rata-rata kemampuan menghitung uang peserta didik meningkat dari 19% pada tahap pra-tindakan menjadi 49%, dan motivasi belajar meningkat dari 35% menjadi 55%. Peningkatan lebih lanjut terlihat pada Siklus 2, dengan kemampuan menghitung uang mencapai 74% dan motivasi belajar mencapai 80%. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi asistif, seperti kalkulator uang, dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk membantu peserta didik dengan hambatan intelektual menguasai keterampilan hidup sehari-hari.
