Hubungan Pola Pengasuhan Orang Tua dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Guru dan orang tua memiliki peran dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sejak dini, hal ini agar mereka dapat memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Artikel ini mengkaji hubungan antara pola pengasuhan orang tua terutama ibu dengan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar. Metode kuantitatif korelasional digunakan melalui instrumen kuesioner untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua dan tes Torrance untuk tingkat kreatifitas siswa dengan melibatkan 88 orang siswa sekolah dasar di Kota Depok sebagai sampel penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa mayoritas orang tua menerapkan pola asuh autoritatif yaitu sebanyak 90,91%, untuk pola asuh otoritatif sebanyak 5,68% dan poa asuh permisif sebanyak 3,41%. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan adanya hubungan pola pengasuhan orang tua dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar dengan nilai korelasi p=0,331. Hubungan setiap pola asuh dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa adalah berbeda-beda. Pola asuh autoritatif berhubungan dengan kemampuan flexibility, pola asuh otoriter berhubungan dengan kemampuan originality, sedangkan pola asuh permisif berhubungan dengan kemampuan flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Penelitian ini memberikan dampak bagi guru dan juga orang tua megenai hubungan jenis pola asuh dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa
