Peran Kepala Sekolah dalam Memaksimalkan Work Engagement Guru

Abstract


Peran kepala sekolah sangat penting untuk mempengaruhi serta membimbing semua personal bekerja sama dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi work engagement sekolah. Untuk mengetahui pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam memaksimalkan guru dalam lembaga pendidikan. Peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti tentang bagaimana “Peran Kepala Sekolah dalam Memaksimalkan Work Engagement pada lembaga pendidikan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapanâ€. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapan. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian/Berdasarkan peta konsep yang dihasilkan, penelitian ini memiliki novelty yang terdiri dari 5 komponen penting peran kepala sekolah dalam memaksimalkan work engagement guru di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Al-Mujahidin Balikpapan yaitu tugas kepala sekolah, perilaku kepemimpinan, target sekolah, program work engagement, evaluasi work engagement. Perencanaan yang tepat oleh kepala sekolah melalui perumusan, perencanaan, pengembangan misi, visi, rencana kerja, anggaran, program induksi dan tujuan sekolah memilik peran terhadap work engagement guru, yang nantinya memiliki dampak terhadap target sekolah dengan pendekatan program work engagement guru. Kompetensi kepemimpinan dituntut memberikan peran dalam memaksimalkan work engagement guru dengan memberikan menunjukkan kepedulian, motivasi positif, bimbingan dan arahan dapat menumbuhkan work engagement guru. Program work engagement menjadi strategi yang tepat untuk mencapai target sekolah di masa sekarang dan masa akan datang.
